Saarathi Explainers · Printed courses you can ask about

Read the lesson. Ask the question on your mind.

Printed course booklets that combine illustrations, spoken explanations and questions answered from the course material itself. Use one with the Saarathi folio to go back over an idea and take it further.

Compatible folio required — ₹2,200. Printed booklets from ₹250, priced separately. Explainer subscription ₹180 a month.

A worked example from a physics lesson

“Why does adding another resistor change the current?”

A learner is on the Current Electricity spread, looking at a printed circuit with two resistors in parallel. They press and ask. Dvani answers about that circuit — naming the branches as the page labels them, and holding the supply voltage fixed, because that is the case the page is about.

Then it asks one back: what happens to the total current if one branch is removed? The learner works it out on the page in front of them.

The answer comes from the material the chapter's author supplied and a teacher reviewed — not from the open internet. If the chapter does not cover it, the honest answer is that the chapter does not say, and that is what it will give.

What is being built, and in what order.

Browsing starts with class, subject and language. For CBSE Class 10, Science is one integrated subject rather than three; for Classes 11 and 12, each of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology is its own course.

No chapter has completed subject review, so none is on sale. We would rather show you the queue than a catalogue of covers with Buy buttons behind them.

Three costs, kept separate.

Hardware

The Saarathi folio

₹2,200, bought once. Required — the electronics are in the folio, not in the booklet. One folio reads every booklet you own.

The booklet

The printed chapter

from ₹250, bought per chapter or per course. A creator's course on the Marketplace may be priced differently.

The service

Asking questions

₹180 a month. The narration plays from the folio; asking a question needs the service. The first year that comes free with a Smart Album or a Storybook does not apply here.

Not settled yet: whether that subscription is per learner, per folio or per household, and whether it covers every course you own. It will be answered here before a course goes on sale, not at a checkout.

Where do the answers come from?

From the material supplied with the chapter and reviewed by a teacher. Not from the open internet. If the chapter does not cover something, it says so rather than guessing.

Do I need the internet?

For asking questions, yes. The narration plays from the folio itself.

Who writes and checks the courses?

Dvani's own courses, and courses from teachers, institutes and publishers through the Marketplace. Every listing will name who wrote it, who reviewed it, and which reviews it actually passed.

Does this replace a teacher?

No. It answers the question a learner has at eleven at night on the page they are stuck on. What it should not do is give a confident answer to something nobody checked, which is why no chapter is on sale yet.

Is it aligned to the CBSE syllabus?

We are building to it, and we will claim alignment for a specific course only once its coverage has been reviewed against the current curriculum — with the curriculum year and the reviewer on the course record.

Tell us which subject you need first.

It genuinely changes the order we build in.
